Westminster Cathedral, London, England

New Year's Eve Vigil - 31 December 1999

There will be a Vigil on the Piazza of Westminster Cathedral on 31st December. Beginning with 7pm Mass in the Cathedral, it will be followed at 8pm by supper in Cathedral Hall . At 11pm there will be a service of prayer and at 11.45pm participants will enter the Cathedral to see in the year 2000, ending about 12.30am.

Reservations are now being taken for the buffet supper, price £25 (non-refundable). This will also cater for vegetarians: when booking, please indicate the name of the person requiring a vegetarian dish. There will be live entertainment, and tickets will be entered for a draw for a luxury trip. Seating is limited to the first 250 applications.
