There are a large number of projects, exhibitions and events being planned independently of the Millennium Exhibition. The Millennium Exhibition will be on a large site on the Greenwich peninsular where the meets the River Thames. Other major plans include those for the Royal Observatory Greenwich which houses the telescope on the Prime (the actual point where World Time is set).
