Nick Raynsford MPMember of Parliament for Greenwich and Woolwich Minister for London and Construction
The announcement that Greenwich was to be the host for the Millennium Exhibition has prompted major interest in the area and will lead to significant regeneration opportunities and encourage more visitors to the, already world famous, Greenwich Royal Naval College, National Maritime Museum and Greenwich Royal Observatory sites, as well as, introducing them to some of the area's less well known, but equally interesting attractions, such as the Royal Artillery Barracks and Museum and the Thames Barrier at Woolwich.
