Member of Parliament for Greenwich
Shadow Minister for Housing and Construction and Spokesperson for London.
Nick Raynsford has been MP for Greenwich for the past four years. He lives in the constituency with his family and each year takes up hundreds of cases for constituents dealing with a range of issues such as housing, asylum, transport and environmental issues.
The announcement that Greenwich was to be the host for the Millennium Exhibition has prompted major interest in the area and will lead to significant regeneration opportunities and encourage more visitors to the, already world famous, Greenwich Royal Naval College, National Maritime Museum and Old Royal Observatory sites, as well as, introducing them to some of the area's less well known, but equally interesting attractions, such as the Royal Artillery Barracks and Museum and the Thames Barrier at Woolwich.
I am always pleased to hear from constituents.
