Greenwich2000 - Community - Parliamentary Representation

Greenwich in Parliament

Greenwich is represented at two levels. There is the United Kingdom Parliament which consists of a two tier house. The Lower House or House of Commons is an elected body with elections held by universal franchise, at least every five years. The European Parliament which sits in Brussels and Strasbourg also has local representatives. They represent vast constituencies which don't necessarily correlate to UK Parliamentary boundaries.
