Starting at the top of the World...

Its cold here so we'll quickly head SOUTH
We head South across the ice and across the sea:
Greenland Sea
Norwegian Sea
Then we cross the Arctic Circle
The North Sea
We eventually reach dry land:
United Kingdom
Across Lincolnshire
Across Hertfordshire

To help guide your way a green laser shines down the Meridian
Leaving London we cross the Sussex Downs
East Grinstead
Half a mile north of the High Street is East Court, a former private house built in 1769. Today, its grounds and woods are open to the public, and a stone marks the point where the Greenwich Meridian passes through the town. This Grade II listed building houses the Town Council Offices, and incorporates Meridian Hall.
Pass through Lewes, Sussex
A pinnacle marks the spot in Peacehaven (between Brighton and Newhaven) where the Meridian Line crosses the English Coastline at the English Channel (Le Manche)
But you'll need some French here!
Cross Le Manche we arrive at the French Coast to the west of
Crossing the Loire at Saumur
Traverse the Gironne - the rich vine growing Bordeaux region
Crossing the Gulf of Valencia with Valencia to the west
Crossing into the Mediterranean near Benedorm
Leaving Europe we head for Africa
We cross the coast near
It really starts to get hot and dry now as we head into the

The Meridian Line just slips into Togo for a short distance
Ghana
We finally leave dry land at Accra
We head south across the Atlantic Ocean
Traverse the Equator (we are at Zero Longitude, Zero Latitude now)
Crossing the Equator on the Zero Meridian

Now its all ocean all the way for almost for half of the globe to the ice of Antarctica

I don't believe it - the guy we met at the Equator has beaten us to the South Pole (and you thought Cyber space was fast!!!)
