Comments from a German visitor.

- (Reader recommended) If our email-bag is anything to go on this must be the most popular pub in Greenwich with fans from around the globe!!. CAMRA London Pub of the Year. They serve Shepherd Neame Master Brew Bitter, Best Bitter, Spitfire and either Bishops Finger or Porter depending on the season.
Richard I, 52 Royal Hill, Greenwich, London, SE10 - 0181 692 2996
(Reader recommended) A Young's house. Barbecues held in the summer.
Lord Hood, 300 Creek Road, Greenwich , London SE10 - 0181-305-1104
- (Reader recommended) Adjacent to Up-the-Creek club. It is a good place to start an evening in Up The Creek. One of the few pubs in Greenwich to sport a pool table, it also provides VERY cheap but good grub, especially week-ends.
The Morden Arms, 1 Brand Street (Circus Street), Greenwich , London SE10 - 0181-858-0457
(Reader recommended) A very relaxed pub, which has a good live music policy. There is a house blues band which on Sunday can consist of most of the audience - basically a jam session. Because of its residential location, instruments are always acoustic. Thursday is music night. The Morden 'publishes' its own news leaflet. Food here is also very good.
