Baseball: Greenwich has a National Class Youth Baseball Club
Eltham Allstars Sweep the Boards!
Baseball News: in the recent Eltham Allstar Tournament Team 'Greenwich Dodgers' went undefeated in a clean sweep of the Regional Tournament in their games.
- Maidstone 61-7
- Tonbridge 14-3
- Brighton 28-9
Greenwich Little League (Eltham Division) Baseball has now represented the South East of England at National Level Tournament play for the for the 3rd consecutive year!
In 1994 they were Junior Regional Champions and went on to represent England at the European Championships in Germany.
In 1995 in the Senior Regional they were placed 3rd, but due to other teams defaulting Eltham were allowed to progress through to the National level tournament and after considerable extra training improved their position to become placed 3rd National.
Now in 1996 they have become Undefeated Regional Champions and will progress to the National Tournament in Cambridge on the 6/7 July as Regional Allstars!
Greenwich Little League Seniors (ages 13, 14, 15 yrs.) train at Eltham Park South, Glenesk Road, Eltham, so do their Juniors (ages 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 yrs.) and their 5 to 8 years Tee Ball group.
