1100 -1135 King Henry I
1120 - Henry I loses his only son, William, in the White Ship Tragedy.
1135 -1154 King Stephen (Henry I nephew seizes power)
1154 - 1189 King Henry II
1170 - Martyrdom of Thomas a Beckett at Canterbury
1173 - Henry's son (The Young King) leads a revolt against his father
1189 - 1199 King Richard I (Richard the Lionheart)
1190's Richard fights the Crusades for most of this decade
